Colton Harman drove in four on three hits to lead Blythewood Bengals Varsity past T.L. Hanna 10-2 on Thursday. Harman drove in runs on a in the first, a single in the fourth, and a double in the sixth.
Blythewood fired up the offense in the first inning when Landon Lucas hit a solo homer.
The Bengals scored three runs in the fourth inning, putting the pressure on, lead by a single by Harman and a home run by Jansen Stokes.
Lucas pitched Blythewood to victory. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking one. Ben Blackwell, Camden Watts, and Watson Saunders all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
#24 started the game for T.L. Hanna. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while walking one. #12 and #13 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and two and two-thirds innings respectively.
Blythewood socked two home runs on the day. Lucas went yard in the first inning. Stokes had a four bagger in the fourth inning.
Blythewood racked up 11 hits on the day. Harman and Lucas all collected multiple hits. Harman led the Bengals with three hits in three at bats. Blythewood didn’t commit a single error in the field. Colin Jones had the most chances in the field with seven.
Stuckey went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead T.L. Hanna in hits.
