Game Recap

On to the Semi-finals… The Blythewood lacrosse team made school history when they beat Dutch Fork and moved on for the first time to the State Final Four. The game was a great matchup between the two big powerhouse teams in the midlands and it did not disappoint. The scoring was led by senior Landon Barrow and juniors Matt Clary and Mac Martin that each put up two apiece. Both Kaden Brown and Ryan Crawford each pushed the score past the reach by adding a goal of their own. The offense was a true team effort with game changing assist by Justin Williams and long pole John Sims. The battle between the pipes saw both of Blythewood’s goalies come up big with 12 saves.

This Tuesday evening Blythewood will host Nations Ford in the semi-final game of the playoffs. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 on the field behind the school. Please come out and cheer on the Bengal’s lacrosse team as they continue their drive to the championship.
